Destination: Boracay (Day2)

I was absolutely tired from all the travelling that we did for day 1 of our family vacation that I fell asleep watching TLC.  Next morning, we were up early to make the most of beach time.

I changed into my awesome Soak Swimwear and headed out for some breakfast and time to lounge by the beach.

Pre-nup ba ito? :P
This vacation is a time for us to relax and enjoy.  No tiring activities to be done unlike the first time I went (I'll blog about that soon).  With that, Dad arranged for a boat to take us snorkeling and roam around the island.

Tip: Activities that you want to do can be arranged by the "manongs" roaming around.  Be sure to haggle! :)

We walked to Station 3 where the boats are located.  Here you can also rent snorkeling gears and buy bread that can be fed to the fishes.

We spent about an hour snorkeling but with all the bread gone, we opted to go to Puka Beach, one of the most famous parts of the island.  On the way there, we were able to see what they say is Manny Pacquiao's resort and Shangri-La Boracay resort.

Manny's resort
Shangri-la Boracay
Had fun taking pictures at Puka Beach.  The name originated because lots of puka shells can be found there.

Riding a boat is a good way for you to see the beauty of the island.  You get to see the white sand beach from afar and the deep blue water which sparkles under the sunlight.

After lunch, we went back to the hotel where lounge chairs are available at the beach front.  We stayed there for a couple of hours, just watching the people go by.  I almost fell asleep!  Hahaha!

In the afternoon, we went back to Station 1 because I was really set on trying the famous calamansi muffins which can be found in Real Coffee Cafe.  This place also became famous not only for their food, but also because it was part of the movie "When Love Begins".  I have to warn you though, the place is not easy to find because there is only a small sign that indicates where you should turn to get in.  Good thing I have a Boracay guide which was given for free at the jetty port.  There is an easier way to go here and I'll tell you about that in my next blog post.  Believe me, all the walking and searching that we did was all worth it!  The muffins were so delicious!!!

We also went back to Jonah's ('coz you just gotta have this everyday) and took some pictures of Mom and Dad.  They even attempted to do a jump shot! :P

And this is how day 2 ended.  Watch out for day 3 next :)
