We had the best of both worlds in Bohol. We had a land tour and a sea tour. Sadly it was already time to go home. But before we headed to the airport, we were on a quest to search for breakfast that would satisfy our hungry tummies.
In front of the resort. White sand! |
Walking along the stretch of resorts and restaurants. Excited to see how far we traveled from Cebu to Bohol. |
We found this place called "Hayahay". This is a Cebuano term which means convenient, fresh, and breezy.
Going up the restaurant |
I love the ambiance of the place. It has big windows which let's the cool breeze from the beach enter the restaurant. The chairs, tables, and furnishings are mostly made of wood. It's like a big bahay kubo.
Big windows everywhere |
They have a mini bar |
Hayahay offers both local and international dishes. Loved the food we ordered! Yummy!
Bacon and Eggs |
Coffee served with milk |
Yummy milk shake |
Vegetable salad |

Pancake! |
I think this was ham and cheese sandwich |

Hayahay is also a resort. Check out their website for accommodations (http://www.hayahay.net/)
I really had fun in Bohol. I'm not exactly sure what made it so magical for me. It may have been the Chocolate Hills, or the river cruise. Maybe, the tarsiers, or the corals. Someday, I will go back to this island and rediscover more of what it has to offer.
Thanks for sharing your photos. Great and unforgettable glimpse of Bohol Island.
